Gena's Sierra Inn & Restaurant

10/10 Excellent
"Our family of 4 adults enjoyed our extended weekend stay very much! We had everything we needed to cook our own meals but the food at Bella Brook Cafe was so excellent we split our meals between. Our young adult kids (20-somethings) had their own beds in the Hunter’s Lodge where we stayed and we were able to do some laundry on site after hiking in Yosemite and KC/Sequoia. Highly recommend if you don’t require Hilton standards but want clean, comfortable and eclectic. Air conditioning was awesome as well! Excellent streaming options for TV as well, although we weren’t in the room very much to utilize. A+ service and staff!"

"This is the second year in a row that we've used this hotel. They've even added restaurants closer then last year from what we remember so it's even more convenient now but it's always been quiet it's always clean the grounds are amazing. There's always breakfast the next morning and we always feel very comfortable here."

The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge

8/10 Good
"Great location. The restaurant was oddly hit or miss; most meals we had were fantastic, but one night was surprisingly mediocre. The room was cozy, but not quite comfy. The toilet didn’t have a lid, the sliding balcony door needed a lot of muscle to lock, and the a/c was a bit loud. Also, the housekeeping staff, while super friendly and helpful, started each day talking just outside our window… at 6:30."
